15–16 October 2025, Brussels – European Commission’s Albert Borschette Conference Centre
Organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), this high-level meeting brings together institutional leaders and blue-economy stakeholders from 43 countries — the 27 EU Member States and 16 partners from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean.
The event serves as a key moment to share achievements, align regional priorities, and accelerate cooperation for a more inclusive, sustainable, and innovative blue economy across the Mediterranean. Key discussions focused on the launch of the Ocean Pact and the upcoming EastMed Initiative linked to the future EU Pact for the Mediterranean, updates on the implementation of the 2021 UfM Ministerial Declaration and Roadmap, and strengthened synergies with regional initiatives such as WestMED, Interreg Euro-MED, Next-Med, BlueMissionMed, and the Plastic Busters Initiative.
