Proud to announce that the Cluster Med Alliance – CALLMEBLUE has been awarded the WestMED Project Award 2025!

This recognition highlights CALLMEBLUE as a pilot initiative that successfully reinforces the role of maritime clusters across the Mediterranean, with a strong focus on strengthening North–South and South–South collaboration. It celebrates our shared commitment to building a more connected, resilient, and innovation-driven regional blue economy.

Flashback to our participation at the 2025 WestMED Stakeholder Conference in Tunis:
Organised on 28 November 2025 under the Tunisian Co-Presidency, this 5th edition was delivered by the WestMED Assistance Mechanism, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, and supported by CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and DG MARE.

The event once again brought together leading Mediterranean and European institutions, providing a unique platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint action.

This year’s programme addressed key cross-cutting priorities :Blue Skills and Ocean Literacy, Maritime Clusters, Energy Transition, Maritime Spatial Planning, Aquaculture, and Climate Change, highlighting how coordinated efforts can unlock new pathways for sustainable growth in the region.
Our contribution to these discussions showcased the impact of CALLMEBLUE in empowering clusters as catalysts of transformation, enabling ecosystems to access new opportunities and strengthening the fabric of Mediterranean cooperation.

Receiving the WestMED Project Award 2025 in this context is not only an honour but also a powerful encouragement to continue scaling this collaborative momentum. Together, we will keep driving impactful services, high-value support, and a stronger regional integration across the Mediterranean.
